Internationals Working in the USA Seminar
On Wednesday September 15, 2004 at approximately 12:40 am a female was attacked outside her residence in the area of Beman Lane in Troy. The suspect was nude and wore a shirt around his head. The suspect grabbed the victim, who was then able to get into her vehicle to get help.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION
The suspect is described as a white male, early 30's, stocky build with blonde hair. The investigation is continuing with Troy Police.

Rensselaer offers a course on "Listening & Speaking in English"
(ADMN 1010-03).
The class explores how spoken English is different than written English.
Participants practice their listening and speaking skills while learning about
American language, culture, music, and more.
This course is offered fall semesters only.
This semester, the class meets Mondays and Thursdays, 8-9:20 am, in Sage 4203.
If you or someone you know is interested, come to class next week (9/13 or
9/16).

The International Office (ISSS) and the Career Development Center Office are hosting a seminar to cover the following topics.
Have questions about: How to get a job? How to get permission to work in the United States?
Speakers include:
• Tom Tarantelli from the Career Development Center speaking about their
services for students and what students should start doing to enhance their
chances of getting a job.
• Jane Havis from the ISSS office will talk about what kinds of work permission
is available for F-1 and J-1 students and how to obtain it.
• Michele Santucci, an immigration lawyer, will be talking about what
work choices international students have after they graduate and have used their
work permission from their student visa.
This seminar will be held on Thursday, September 30. It will start at 5:00pm and end at 6:00pm and will be held in the DCC 318.
