Thanksgiving Dinner
Thanksgiving is a big holiday in the United States. It is a time when
family and friends get together for a dinner and good company. Realizing
this, the ISSS Office together with the Northeastern New York Chapter
of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers organize an annual Thanksgiving dinner
especially for Rensselaer's International Students and their families.
This will help them to embrace the American culture, make them feel
more at home and give them the golden opportunity to socialize with
the Peace Corps Volunteers. Meeting with the international students
allows them to test their language abilities after as long as 40 years
since their volunteer service.
