2013 Black Family Technology Awareness Day

Time to Register!

Registration will begin after January 15.

In planning ahead, here are some things to keep in mind. You will need to register for the opening ceremony, lunch, and the closing ceremony, if you plan to attend. This will help us to get a head count.

In addition, you will also need to register for the workshops offered. Please take time to review the workshop sessions offerings and descriptions. On the registration page, there is a “more info” tab that will provide a description and age level for all workshops offered.

We will also host our Kids Corner room. This is a day-long drop-in session for PreK-Grade 2 students and their families. Parents and their younger children can participate in simple arts and crafts activities, face painting, and other activities. Children need to be accompanied by their parents at all times. Please do not leave children unattended.

Please note, as in past years, school groups and community organizations need to break up into smaller groups of no more than five students (accompanied by an adult chaperone at all times) especially for our hands-on sessions to enable other attendees to participate in our offerings.

During the course of the event, we have several photographers that will be taking photos for us. Please take the time to print and complete the media release form and bring it with you on the day of the event. We will also have additional forms handy on the day of the event. We appreciate your cooperation in this process.
