The Minds and Machines Lab is the heart of the Minds and Machines Program.
This innovative cross-school program weaves together human cognition with
computer power.  It focuses on how information technology and humans can
interact to best solve real-world problems.  The Lab aims at making smart
machines that make minds smarter; in it can be found an array of robots,
virtual reality interfaces, a VR "cave," artificial intelligences, and 
undergrads and grads working on hands-on research projects.
