At our last meeting (yesterday) John asked if I would mail the suggested
criteria classification we talked about. Here it is.

		marketing
		learning environments
		organizational structure within in Rensselaer
		take-aways (of graduates)

On take-aways of graduates there was a further breakdown:

		skill levels
		knowledge base (extent)
		reasoning abilities
		wisdom (experientially gained)

I missed the last part of the conversation so the following idea may or may
not be relevant.

Further initial discussion of the criteria may put us behind in our effort to
meet our deadline. One strategy is to ask John to assign each of us, maybe in
small teams, the task of preparing criteria broken down as above (or some
other way).

We would agree to accept the proposed criteria, blindly, without debate and
design accordingly for two or three meetings. After we have something
substantial designed we could permit ourselves to reevaluate our criteria and
hence our, then current, design.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Harry
