If you do so, note that you will not be able to take advantage of the support provided by the Mobile Computing Program. You must purchase and install software and configure network connections. You may encounter software or other incompatibilities and you will not be eligible for on-campus support and repair or a loaner machine. Be sure to check with your curriculum adviser for software requirements. The Fall 2008 Mobile Computing Package includes the ThinkPad T61p, the comprehensive software suite, laptop backpack carrying case, Ethernet cable, and security cable with lock.
