1. If you leased a laptop in Fall 1999, you must either purchase the leased laptop for $450 or return the leased laptops. Details about returning the laptop during the week after classes begin will be available by August 13 .

2. As a third-year student, you have the following options:

• lease a Fall 2001 laptop computer
• purchase a Fall 2001 laptop computer

In late June, you should receive a mailing with information about your options and forms to let us know of your decision. When you have made your decision, return the appropriate form by July 9, 2001 to

Leasing the laptop

You can choose a two-year lease for your laptop computer with four equal payments of $602.10 for a total of $2408.40. One payment will be charged to your student account at the beginning of the fall '01, spring '02, fall '02, and spring '03 semesters.

This includes the laptop, all pre-loaded software, extras, insurance and sales tax.
