Minimum System Requirements

Although we recommend obtaining your laptop through Rensselaer, you do have the option of bringing your own laptop. You are responsible for providing the software. Be sure to check with your curriculum adviser for software requirements.

The laptop must meet the following minimum requirements:

CD-ROM drive
Full complement of ports: USB, serial, parallel, video out, keyboard/mouse,microphone in, speaker/headphone
