The EZ-Snapshot Backup Service

 The EZ-Snapshot backup service allows individuals and/or departments within the Rensselaer community to store copies of personal computer files, from computers running Windows, to a tape library over the campus network.

All Rensselaer community members can register for EZ-Snapshot and use this service to backup files on computers on the campus network.   An initial storage allocation is provided free of charge, and users will be billed an annual fee, if the initial storage allocation is exceeded.   Additional information on registration for the individual EZ-Snapshot service can be found at the following link.

Rensselaer departments can register multiple EZ-Snapshot clients, to be administered as a group.  This option allows Rensselaer departmental administration of the EZ-Snapshot usage.  Additional information on the Departmental EZ-Snapshot service can be found at the following link.
