Data screen

Pressing ``8'' at the top level display screen takes you to the ``Data'' screen (see figure 31). The actual deposition is controlled from this screen.

There is a wealth of information contained on the data screen. Section 3.9 explains how to perform a deposition and discusses the data screen in more detail.

Before starting deposition, the user should insure that the indicated ``film'' (near the lower left of the display) corresponds to the recipe to be used. It can be chaged by typing ``FLM#'' followed by the number of the recipe on the numeric keypad. Film number 1 is selected in figure 31.
