Novel Bioseparating Agents using Combinatorial Libraries (with Professor Dordick)

A new project is a collaborative effort between our laboratory and Professor Dordick’s group. This project is developing novel high throughput screening techniques for the development of high affinity displacers for a variety of chromatographic systems. In addition, this project will investigate the utility of using molecules obtained from combinatorial syntheses as novel displacers and affinity ligands. Finally this project will employ enzymatic combinatorial synthesis in combination with molecular modeling (see above) to generate novel high affinity displacers for a variety of adsorbent systems.
