Environmental and Biochemical Teaching Aids on the WWW
Authors:
William D. Kuchinski and Henry R. Bungay
ABSTRACT:
The World-Wide Web is an impressive resource that is used in
environmental and chemical engineering courses at RPI. The teacher authored some hypertext
packages that also serve as templates for student term projects.
Students say they enjoy developing teaching aids for
the World-Wide Web and must
learn a great deal about the material in order to teach it. The internet opens new doors for
education in terms of pacing, interaction, and student interest.
PROJECTS:
Recently, 32 educational hypertext presentations for the World Wide Web
were developed by students as term projects for biochemical engineering and for
environmental engineering.
Please feel free to select one or both
areas to see how the students are using the World-Wide Web.
