Small Increase in Jacket Temperature

Consider a step change of 0.1 (from the steady-state value of 1.5 to 1.6 ) in the jacket flowrate. The responses of the nonlinear and linear models are shown in Figure 2. For both the tank temperature and the jacket temperature, the linear model closely approximates the nonlinear process.
