November 2004

RPI AIChE members attended the National AIChE Conference in Austin, Texas to compete with schools around the country in the car competition. They took fifth place out of 31 teams, and the top 6 teams are now invited to attend the International Conference held in Scotland in July! They will be competing with schools all over the world! GREAT JOB to everyone who has put a lot of time and energy to make this so successful!

Wednesday, April 14th, 2004:
Michael Ross from Fairlawn, NJ, a Rensselaer alumni graduated in 1963 with a degree in chemical engineering. After working as a nuclear engineer for 37 years, Mr. Ross now teaches math at the high school level. In his spare time, he also acts on stage. Ricketts 203 @ 4pm.

Relax with other Chemical Engineers on campus before the end of year rush gets to you. Come to the Quad from 2pm - 4pm and have fun!

 

Monday, April 26th, 2004:

Alumni Micheal McCabe ('79) and William McCabe ('84) are coming to speak to RPI's AiChE about their expierences after chemical engineering. Micheal left chemical engineering for Wall Street, while William pursued law school and now works as a patent lawyer for a patent firm.
