Challenge

Why require yor students to pay upwards of $100 for a textbook when the information is very likely to be on the internet?

Major textbooks go through several editions to update them while updates on the internet are free. Most engineers seldom open textbooks from their college days because it is quicker and more convenient to search with a computer. Organizing material and inserting hyperlinks on a thumb drive expedites searching and does not clutter the memory of your computer.

The treatments on this thumb drive while uneven in quality are a fairly good starting point for a book tailored to your course. Editing, cutting, and pasting your own pages could convey information well-suited to your teaching goals at minimum cost.
