Wrap up
There were some major projects underway when the political upheaval changed the economics of the factory. One of these was an expansion of the power plant. This was halted because a drop in the number of fermentation runs made the expansion unnecessary. A very major addition to the fermentation facilities was also terminated. Some very modern fermenters and new equipment for product recovery were purchased, set up, and left unconnected. If completed, this fermentation equipment would allow this factory to compete with other modern plants throughout the world.
My final verdict was that this company was expert in all phases of antibiotic manufacturing except those relates to sales and marketing.
