Underneath the tops of the large vessels used, the boilers, the fermenters, and the storage tanks, are specially designed spray bulbs. They are used for the cleaning and sanitation of the vessels. The bulb is capable of discharging caustic soda onto every interior surface of the container. The caustic soda will remove most organic contaminates. Shown in the picture below is a spray bulb from the boiler.
