   If you do not have the CD, read the introductory material for the course as last taught by Prof. Dordick:Introductory material.
   The review material is at: Review of biochemicstry and microbiology Otherwise, see the schedule for Fall_04 on the CD. Many web pages have been changed since placing them in the RPI Archive that is seldom updated anymore. Hand in the permission slip for puting your grades in the spreadsheet. Inform the prof that you have handed in the permission slip by sending an e-mail to   bungah@rpi.edu   with your picture attached. Please use your last name as the name of the photo file. This e-mail counts as a quiz. The grade will be 5 with no picture and 10 with your photo.

   Work from the CD to have the newest links. Browse through this material and use it to reinforce the lectures.

   There will be a quiz on Tuesday, Sept. 7, starting at 8:00.

   1. (Optional)  Submit one quiz question by e-mail to bungah@rpi.edu
      Deadline for questions is 11:00 AM Monday. All questions will be listed on the quiz.
   2. To take the quiz on Tuesday, select and answer one question. Your score will depend on your answer and on the rating of the question.
   3. Rate ALL of the questions on a scale of 1 to 10.
      The person who submitted the question will get points equal to the average of the ratings.
    

2. Sept. 7, Lecture on Tuesday.

   No class meeting on Friday Sept. 10 because of dedication of new bio buiding. The schedule on the CD is incorrect. Just review the pages shown for bioreactors.

   There will be a quiz on Tuesday, Sept. 13, starting at 8:00. It will cover the lecture and web pages about bioreactors. Don't forget to submit questions if you want to score points.
