Wet Wells (Overhead View)
Although the wet wells may not look very large from this picture, remember that
this just shows the ladder to get down into the well. The well is deep and
deceptively large. The valve you see is to divide the flow between the two
wells. The flow can be diverted to one well while repairs are being done to
the other well. Remember a plant must have the flexibility to be able to
survive periodic maintenance of important equipment.
