Glens Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant Presentation

Introduction:
This presentation was constructed by two seniors in the Environmental Systems Engineering course taught
by Dr. Bungay. The presentation is an
introductory tour of a wastewater treatment plant.
Overview:
The Glens Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant is designed for an average flow
rate of 8.5 million gallons per day (MGD). Construction of this facility began
in March, 1984, and ended in March, 1987. The City of Glens Falls wastewater
treatment facilities are designed to provide secondary treatment of wastewaters
emanating from the city and other industries in the area.
