Fermenter Coils

Infrequently, some sort of heat exchanger is used outside of the fermenter. Broth is pumped to the heat exchanger and back. The main alternative or supplement to a jacket is placing coils inside the fermenter. There may be several coils. A spiral coil is shown in the sketch.
