Arrhenius expression:

Ea = activation energy

Ea is interpreted as being an energy barrier wich reactants must cross on their way to being products.The higher the temperature more pairs of molecules will have the sufficient energy to cross the barrier.

A large value of Ea leads to a small value of K(equilibrium constant) and thus to a slow reaction.

The rate of a process is more fast at a high temperature.
