Animals Can Also be Effected by Fluoridation

Elevated levels of fluoride are not only hazardous to the welfare of humans but also to the welfare of other organisms. Fish and other aquatic life present in streams or rivers excepting waste water have been found to be particularly sensitive to elevated levels of fluoride. Fish such as the trout, find levels as low as 2.7-4.7 mg/l deadly (3). Water fluoridation must be looked at in the holistic sense, not only can high levels be harmful to humans but it can also have deleterious effects on the life surrounding us.
