Located at the Heart of the Rensselaer Campus

  • The C+CC is on Burdett Avenue between Sherry Road and Peoples Avenue, across the street from Burdett Avenue Residence Hall (BARH).

    • Driving From Albany

  • Take I-787 North to the exit for "Rt. 7 East, Troy-Bennington".
  • Follow signs for Rt. 7, Hoosick Street.
  • At the 5th traffic light (about 1/2 mile), turn right (south) onto Burdett Avenue.
  • Continue through the 2nd traffic light on Burdett Avenue (Peoples Avenue).
  • The C+CC is on the right on the block after Peoples Avenue.
  • Park on either side of Burdett Avenue.

    • Driving From The Northway, South from Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls

  • Take I-87 (The Northway) South to Exit 7, following signs for "Rt. 7 East, Troy-Bennington".
  • Follow Route 7 down a steep hill and across the Hudson River.
  • Follow signs on the East (Troy) side of the River for Rt. 7, Hoosick Street.
  • At the 5th traffic light (about 1/2 mile), turn right (south) onto Burdett Avenue.
  • Continue through the 2nd traffic light on Burdett Avenue (Peoples Avenue).
  • The C+CC is on the right on the block after Peoples Avenue.
  • Park on either side of Burdett Avenue.

    • Driving From the New York State Thruway, East from Buffalo or North from New York City

  • Leave the Thruway at Exit 23, Albany/I-787. (Note: While Exit 24 may look more logical coming from the west, the exit plaza there is exceedingly “trafficky” and there is construction work I-90 east of the plaza that can cause significant delays; we recommend avoiding that exit whenever possible).
  • Take I-787 North for about nine miles to the exit for "Rt. 7 East, Troy-Bennington".
  • Follow signs for Rt. 7, Hoosick Street.
  • At the 5th traffic light (about 1/2 mile), turn right (south) onto Burdett Avenue.
  • Continue through the 2nd traffic light on Burdett Avenue (Peoples Avenue).
  • The C+CC is on the right on the block after Peoples Avenue.
