And so the end of the Church’s liturgical year has come and we celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King.  In the Church’s calendar a recent feast (1925) but in the history of our family of faith most ancient.  In so many ways this day is tied to the Ascension of Jesus where He reigns over all.  Contemporary ideas and language often fail to convey the realities of our great mysteries of faith.  It is easiest to say – Jesus is the Messiah, now living in eternity with God, is in all, through all and with all as Lord.  Thus, we must celebrate.

OUR THANKSGIVING LITURGY will be celebrated this Wednesday evening, 25 November, at 6:15 pm.

This is to be followed by a soup/bread/salad/dessert meal.  We are asking for a can of a non-perishable food item from all attending.  In addition, if coming, please bring a dessert.  The rest will be supplied.  If you have guests coming from out of town, please ask them to join us.
