PENTECOST, the celebration
remembering the descent of the Spirit on the followers of Jesus some fifty days
after His Resurrection. Considered by some to be “the birthday” of the family
of the Church. PENTECOST, the
recognition of the indwelling of the Spirit in God’s people. PENTECOST, the continual challenge on
everyone’s part to remember the ongoing presence of the Holy Spirit.
MOTHER’S DAY
~ Happy and Blessed Mother’s Day to all our mothers. We were given life by these women, we were
all nurtured by them and we receive so much from them that cannot be put in
words. A special thanks to all the women

blessings on them all.

OUR
2008 BISHOP’S APPEAL: Letters have been
sent detailing our participation in this effort. Our
Bishop’s Appeal provides the annual resources necessary to fund more than 30
offices that provide services to parishes (including ours) and other
programs. No single parish can provide
these services on its own. A successful
Appeal is essential to the continued vitality of our parish and our diocesan
church. Our parish and diocese are one
and inseparable. Neither one can exist
without the other. Please, something is
better than nothing!
To date, 24 families
have contributed $5,855.00. Thank you
for your support!
