ABOUT THE RENSSELAER NEWMAN FOUNDATION

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation chartered in 1963 to provide artistic, educational and religious programming in the City of Troy, New York. Since 1968, our home has been the Chapel + Cultural Center (C+CC) at Rensselaer, a multi-purpose performing arts and worship space.

In 1970, the University Parish of Christ Sun of Justice (CSJ) was chartered in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany via canonical decree. This full service parish still makes its home at the C+CC.

Our staff also supports the chaplaincy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), maintaining offices in the Rensselaer Union at the heart of this busy campus.
