Technology Thrusts
The technology thrusts of the Center for Future Energy Systems (CFES) focus on the search for new energy material sources and devices that will lead to fundamental knowledge and transformational changes in energy conservation and efficiency. The CFES energy platforms span the threshold of renewable and clean technologies and also include studies in smart building architectures, the smart grid and smart lighting.
