Rensselaer Nanotechnology Center

Distributed Energy Resources System Integration Laboratory (DERSIL)

Developed through a NYSTAR CAT Development Project, DERSIL is a test-bed for the testing and demonstration of DER hardware, control and grid technologies. The test-bed includes a programmable grid simulator and hardware-in-the-loop simulation technology, a wind turbine emulator, 20 solar panels equipped with microinverter and programmable electronic loads.
