| How Does the Program Work? Participating alumni mentors submit completed profiles which are added to the Pathways database. To find out more about the participating Pathways mentors, follow the three easy steps outlined below:  Register with Pathways through RenSource. Once permitted access to the database, return to the Pathways Student Menu and Select "Search for Mentors." Search the participating Pathways' mentor profiles and select a mentor you would like to visit, call or correspond with via e-mail. Try to base your request for a mentor based on: shared interests; career field, business or industry; or geographic preference. |

 You will receive an email when your request has been approved and you will receive more detailed information about your mentor and the parameters for your upcoming visit. At the same time, your Pathways mentor will receive notification that they have been matched with you and s/he will be given your name and major.It is your responsibility to then make contact with your mentor to schedule a mutually convenient date and time to talk or meet in person. The actual length of the visit and its content are pre-determined by you and your mentor. You must make initial contact with your mentor within one week of receiving this e-mail. |
