Graduate/Professional School Fellowships & Scholarships

  • American Association of Medical Colleges: has a full program of minority recruitment, placement and education for those interested in the Medical Field. 
  • Gem Fellowship: This partnership promotes the participation of underrepresented groups in post-graduate science and engineering education and the technical workforce. 
  • SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science): Group that encourages Chicano/Latino and Native American students to pursue graduate education and obtain the advanced degrees necessary for science research, leadership, and teaching careers at all levels.

  • APA Minority Fellowship Program:  The MFP's objective is to increase the knowledge of issues related to ethnic minority mental health and to improve the quality of mental health treatment delivered to ethnic minority populations. The scholarship is for students seeking pre-doctoral & postdoctoral training.
  • Ford Foundation Diversity Fellowships: The Fellowship grants awards at the Predoctoral, Dissertation and, Postdoctoral levels to students who demonstrate excellence, a commitment to diversity and a desire to enter the professoriate.
  • American Indian Graduate Fellowships: The American Indian Graduate Center, Inc. announces the availability of fellowships and loans for service to American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Gates Millennial Scholars:  The goal of GMS is to promote academic excellence and to provide an opportunity for outstanding minority students with significant financial need to reach their highest potential.
  • Actuary Minority Scholarship: Provide scholarships at the undergraduate or graduate level for certain minority students who are interested in pursuing actuarial careers.
  • American Bar Association Legal Opportunities Scholarship: The ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship Program was established to improve diversity in the legal profession by encouraging and supporting racial and ethnic minority law students.
  • American Society for Microbiologists Graduate Fellowship:  Offers two-year tenure for senior-level graduate students from an underrepresented minority group to conduct research in microbiology.
  • Black Excel Scholarship database:  Black Excel presents a gateways to well over 1000 Scholarships for minority students nationwide.
  • Diversity Pipeline The Diversity Pipeline Alliance® (the "Pipeline") fosters collaboration among the nonprofit, educational and business communities to prepare students and professionals of color for success in today’s business environment.
  • Ethnic Minority Fellowship List:  Database of Financial Aid, Scholarships, Fellowships and Postdoctoral Awards for minority students.
  • Hispanic Scholarships and Fellowships: Scholarships provide students with well-deserved recognition for their academic achievements, and there are a good number of scholarship dollars just waiting to be tapped into by Latinos.
  • PhD Project: Participation in The PhD Project is available to anyone of African-American, Hispanic American and Native American descent who is interested in business doctoral studies.
  • Public Health and Medicine FellowshipsMinority Scholarships, Fellowships and Postdoctoral Awards in Medicine, Public Health and Related Fields.
  • National Society of Hispanic MBAs: The NSHMBA and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Latinos pursuing Master’s Degrees in management/business. The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to full-time and part-time Master’s degree-seeking graduate students. Awards will range from $2,500 to $5,000 with one $10,000 scholarship.
