| Biomedical Engineering: Career Information This section is not intended to provide you with job leads. In fact, there aren't any. Rather, it provides information and resources to help you get started with your job search. There are links that will help you find companies to explore or research opportunities for the summer. In addition, there is also section included on networking. Register with the Career Development Center (CDC) · Why? Numerous services are provided - including the ability to post your resume online, participate in on-campus interviewing, search for employers and job opportunities and receive e-mails from CDC notifying you of upcoming events and opportunities. · How? Complete the online registration, post a copy of your resume and then go to the CDC in DCC 209 to drop off the CDC Consent Form and to pay the annual $5.00 registration fee. Job Search - All of this information is made available from the Career Development Center. · Timeline - A four year plan to help balance academics, career planning, personal relationships and social activities. · Conducting an Effective Job Search · Write a Winning Cover Letter · Mock Interviews - The CDC offers mock interviews with the option of video-taping. · RedHawk Joblink - The CDC's online registration and recruiting service sponsored by NACElink provides access to the many employers who recruit on-campus post job opportunities with the CDC each year. · Search for Summer Undergraduate Research - A great resource for summer research, sponsored by NSF.
