A Letter to Our Employer Partners From: Tom Tarantelli, Director, Career Development Center Re: Rensselaer’s Job Posting Service The Career Development Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute constantly strives to improve programs and services to all of our constituents. As an employer, you are a valued part of our team effort to inform students about professional job opportunities. We believe that we have made a significant change that improves our ability to help you identify talent to fill your employment needs. The Career Development Center has joined several other universities in now using the new National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) system, NACElink Network. Our Co-op opportunities, internships, summer jobs, part-time positions and full-time listings are all now available on the NACElink Network. In the Summer of 2006, NACElink was renamed The NACElink Network, the result of an alliance among the National Association of Colleges and Employers, DirectEmployers Association, and Symplicity Corporation, and is a national recruiting network and suite of web based recruiting and career services automation tools serving the needs of colleges, employers and job candidates. We are excited about the capabilities of the NACElink Network system and we are equally impressed with the growing list of participating universities and employers. To view a list of sponsoring employers, please visit NACElink’s Network's website. As you continue to navigate our employer pages, you will quickly become acquainted with the many features and advantages of the new system. These include: · Job postings exclusively for Rensselaer students and graduates will be free of charge. · Job postings for multiple participating universities at a nominal fee. · Regardless of the university or website where you originally registered, you will post and manage your jobs from one accountthere is no need for multiple accounts or usernames and passwords. updated 5.07 |
