If you park your car on a city street, it is in danger of being towed. To facilitate the City of Troy's snow removal program, the RPI Parking Office is once again this year offering free Snow Emergency/Removal Permits which will allow off-campus students, faculty, and staff living in Troy the option of parking in the North Lot until 6 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2005 for the current snow removal effort. Remember, the permit is free of charge.
Cars with Snow Emergency/Removal Permits are allowed to park in the last four rows of the North Lot at the northwest corner. The parking entry gates to North Lot will be in the up position during snow removals.
If you already have a Rensselaer permit, you do not need to obtain a Snow Emergency/Removal Permit; your permit is already recognized during snow emergencies and removals. If you need a Snow Emergency/Removal Permit, please stop by the Parking Office, located in the Visitors Information Center, between the hours of 8:30a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
