Upstate New York Electronic Crimes Coalition Conference

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York
Thursday, November 15, 2007

In hopes of helping prevent, detect, and investigate any technology-based criminal activity on its campus, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is pleased to partner with the Upstate New York Electronic Crimes Task Force in presenting the Upstate New York Electronic Crimes Coalition Conference, scheduled to be held between 8:00am and 12:15pm on Thursday, November 15.

The conference program will include presentations by state security and police officers from around New York State, as well as Rensselaer Research Assistant Professor Albert Redo-Sanchez.

The Task Force was established as a partnership of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, private sector companies and academia. By providing a coordinated approach that incorporates cybercrime security assets from four geographical regions of Upstate New York -- Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany -- the Task Force creates a centralized investigative unit administered by the Secret Service.

We hope you will be able to join us on November 15 for this important and informative conference.
