Grant of License Use:
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as licensee
grants access and academic use to the User of a UGS NX license. The license
will be limited to academic or research activity. Any form of commercial
activity is prohibited including paid-for consulting. Use of the software
for training of individuals outside the Rensselaer community is prohibited.
Developing software for sale or license is prohibited. User must obtain advance
written approval from UGS for all documents intended for publication that
concern the capability, functionality, or methodolgy of UGS NX.
User is not obtaining title to the Software or any copyrights. User is
prohibited from selling, sublicensing, renting, leasing, conveying, modifying,
translating, decompiling, or reverse engineering the software for any purpose.
User may not give or distribute the Software to any other party or post to
public boards. Such action is considered a violation of the license grant and
Rensselaer Computer Use policy (www.rpi.edu/web/comec) with subsequent
resulting penalties.
