Here at Detachment 550 we have annual competitions with our sister services in Soccer, Basketball, Football, and Ultimate Frisbee! All three services compete for the prize of the Taylor Trophy while creating a lasting relationship between cadets and midshipman of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
The Silver Falcons Intramural Teams are a great way for cadets to enjoy their time outside of academics and direct Air Force ROTC activities as well as remain fit. Rensselaer has an outstanding program of diverse intramural athletic competition. Detachment 550 cadets participate in wide variety of sports and field Silver Falcons teams in Basketball, Soccer, and Hockey.
