IT IS IMPORTANT TO SEE YOUR ADVISOR!!
Although your advisor's signature is not required for Registration, it is always a good idea to maintain a good relationship with him/her and to see them on a fairly regular bases. Some reasons to do that are as follows:
Course offerings and curriculum requirements sometimes change.
Informal student-faculty contact can enhance the quality of the undergraduate experience.
The Curriculum Advising and Program Planning (CAPP) report (available December 2000) sometimes need change and/or revision that advisors can often help with.
Regular contact with an advisor will help provide a good source for recommendations later in your career.
It is also important to note that you can make appointments with your advisor at times other than just at Registration time. Also, it is a good idea to become aware of your advisors office hours.
