RESEARCH
Undergraduate students at Rensselaer have a unique opportunity to participate in the research efforts of some of the world's finest professors. This of course, is very common at the Graduate School level but because of the creation of the Undergraduate Research Program (URP), our students can do this during their undergraduate years of study.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable research experience either for academic credit or a financial stipend. It also creates a very impressive addition to a students resume for co-op application, job application, or Graduate School. In addition it gives students a unique perspective of subject matter in their chosen field.
