The Lally School of Management & Technology has extended its application deadline to May 15, 2008.

Applicants to the Lally School of Management & Technology MBA and M.S. programs are required to submit answers to the following questions in lieu of the Statement of Background and Goals.

A management degree at Rensselaer is a transformational experience. Describe how your past education and professional work experience combined with studies at the Lally School of Management and Technology will assist you in attaining your career goals.
Finding solutions is the mark of a true business innovator. What was the most difficult problem you have had to solve in a business setting? Why, and how did you solve it?
Innovation and corporate entrepreneurship comprise the thematic focus of the Lally School. What attributes and experiences would you lend to the cohort of students with similar interests and what would you like to learn from a program with such a focus?
Discuss your perceptions of the differences between management and leadership.
