During this period, applicants for fall 2008 and spring 2009 are encouraged to download the PDF form of the application and recommendation forms. To apply for graduate study at Rensselaer’s Troy campus, you must apply online. Please use the Graduate Application (PDF) while the online form is down for maintenance . Be sure to refer to the degree listing for any specific departmental requirements.
*M.Arch. Information The School of Architecture is not admitting new graduate students to the Master of Architecture I, first professional degree program for the 20082009 academic year.
Dual Degree Process
Applicants may apply only to one degree program per term. Students interested in a dual degree should pursue additional degrees/applications once enrolled at Rensselaer. Please contact your department for more information.
Information for Current Rensselaer Students, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni
Application Fee
The application fee is waived for current Rensselaer alumni, current Rensselaer students (matriculating and nonmatriculating), and employees and employee spouses.
Transcripts
The Office of Admissions will be glad to request your official transcripts from the Rensselaer Registrar. If you attended any universities other than Rensselaer, you will need to request official transcripts from those institutions for your application to Rensselaer.
Early Admissions to Graduate Studies
Current Rensselaer undergraduate students with strong academic records may apply to the Admissions Office for graduate studies as early as the junior year. If they are considered academically qualified by the department and by the Admissions Office, students may be admitted and pursue both undergraduate and graduate degrees simultaneously. The bachelor’s degree must be completed concurrently with, or prior to, the master’s degree.
