About the VCC

The Voorhees Computing Center (VCC), located across from Folsom Library, is the "hub" of Academic Computing Services. The building is usually open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

In 1979, when Rensselaer decided to house its mainframe computer and peripheral equipment in what was once a chapel, the inside of the building was completely renovated while the Gothic features of the original structure were preserved.
