The Desktop Repair Group, located on the lower level of VCC (Room 115, extension 8178), offers maintenance service for personal computers (Apple, IBM, and Zenith), IBM and Sun workstations, NeXT workstations, and several types of printers. Hours are 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Through this group, you can choose to purchase a service agreement, or have repairs performed on a time and materials basis. Personal computer repairs will generally require 5 to 10 days turnaround time. For warranty repair, you must bring proof of purchase with your computer before we can start repairs.
Repairs are subject to parts availability from the manufacturer's inventories.
Desktop repair will perform your repair order as fast as possible within these guidelines.
