Administrative Information Services (AIS) welcomes Jim Sawall, who accepted the position of PC/LAN Support Analyst with the department at the end of January. Many of you may already know Jim, as he has worked on co-op in AIS since last May. Jim plans to work on his degree in Electrical Engineering part-time while he works on the upcoming deployment of the Banner system's PC clients and NT servers.
In Libraries and Information Services, Beth Kelly was recently promoted to Senior Library Clerk in the Libraries' Technical Services Department. Her new responsibilities will include contributing catalog records for new library materials to the Libraries' on-line catalog; Beth will also facilitate user access to library materials by representing them accurately in the Libraries' catalog and quickening their processing. Before taking her new position, Beth was previously a Library Clerk in the Libraries Acquisitions Department.
