xess 3.1.1h Now Available on RCS

xess 3.1.1h Now Available on RCS

Version 3.1.1h of xess, an advanced XWindows spreadsheet program providing real-time protocol-independent data exchange, remote client control, quality graphics, and C and Fortran programming interfaces, is now available on RCS.

To use this new version of xess, enter the following commands from a UNIX prompt:

	setup xess-new
	xess

xess 3.1.1h will become the system default on Monday, May 12, and you will no longer have to set it up. The current version of the program, xess 3.0.4c, will remain available until June 12 by entering setup xess-old from a UNIX prompt before running the program.

For more information on how to use xess, select the Help button from the program's main menu bar.
