Version 4.0 of AcroRead, a viewer for displaying and printing PDF files, is now available on the RCS UNIX workstations. This new version, which is the most recent for the UNIX platform, replaces version 3.0, which has been retired and is no longer available.
The new version of AcroRead is the default on the RCS UNIX workstations. In other words, when an application makes a call to read a PDF file, version 4.0 is automatically launched by the RCS UNIX workstation.
