Due to the fact that our new license servers will not support WordPerfect 6, that package will no longer be supported on SGI machines after July 1. And, since most of our public UNIX workstations are SGI machines, this means that WordPerfect will no longer be available in many public locations. However, WP version 7 will still be available on public IBM and Sun workstations, on our remote servers, and on private CUSSP machines.
Users with Windows machines may be interested to know that MicroSoft Word can convert and open WordPerfect files.
