The CIS staff has seen several changes over the past few months.
Network Support Services is pleased to welcome Network Technician Phil "PJ" Jones. Prior to coming to Rensselaer, PJ, who received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from the College of Saint Rose in December, was employed at Scotia's SOFCO, Inc. As both a systems and network administrator there, he installed and maintained the majority of the site's new Ethernet network, and was also responsible for maintaining all of the building's PCs.
Elsewhere on campus, Cindy Kyea marked her last day as a Senior Secretary with the Folsom Library on January 5. But she hasn't gone far! Cindy, who first came to Rensselaer as a Secretary at the Library 'way back in September of 1987, has simply moved up the hill to take on an exciting new role as an associate within the Human Resources department. We couldn't be happier for Cindy, and wish her all the very best with her new responsibilities!
