Libraries Add New Databases

The Rensselaer Libraries have recently added two new databases: AccessScience and Harrison's Online.

AccessScience

AccessScience turns the world's leading science encyclopedia, the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, into an updated database that delivers the high-quality information synonymous with the print publication with the immediacy that only the online environment can provide. AccessScience, in a web-based database format, includes:

• The McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, along with corresponding annual yearbooks (7100+ articles)

• Over 2,100 science biographies
• The Dictionary of Scientific and Technical Terms (115,000 dictionary terms)

• News stories from Science News, updated weekly

• McGraw Hill Science Editors' selected websites for further research

Harrison's Online

Harrison's Online turns the world's leading textbook of medicine, Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, into an updated medical database.
