Rensselaer's Libraries are pleased to announce that you can now access the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, and many other CRC Handbooks on-line. Access to the classic reference tool, the Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, is available through the on-line catalog. With the latest facts and figures, the 81st edition of the Handbook contains the most frequently-used data in science, including the periodic table of the elements, basic constants and units, thermodynamic and spectroscopic data; electric, magnetic, thermal and structural properties of solids, key data from nuclear science, astronomy and geophysics; and up-to-date health and safety information.
Additionally, you can now access most of the other Handbooks through ENGnetBASE, an option on the EI Village/Compendex web search page. These titles include Biomechanical Design, Biomedical Engineering, Computer-Aided Design, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, and approximately 60 others. Searching is by keyword and display is in PDF.
These resources are the latest additions to the Libraries' growing collection of on-line reference materials, the complement to our collections of electronic databases, e-books and e-journals.
