Welcome to the Rensselaer Libraries, and to the wide array of traditional and electronic services they provide in support of teaching and research! Rensselaer's Libraries continue to add links from RensSearch -- the Libraries' Web-based information gateway located at the URL http://www.rpi.edu/library/ -- to new services and resources, and we encourage you to explore their site.
However, if, during your research, you ever encounter any difficulties or need any assistance, please...ask a librarian! And if you're not in Folsom or the Architecture Library, then ask us electronically. Every Web page on the Libraries' Web site contains a link to an e-mail form, which you can use to submit your questions. So check us out! Simply look for the Contact Us link at the top of every page. The Library staff will answer your question as soon as possible; except during holidays, you should have a response in less than 24 hours.
Rensselaer's librarians are also researching and experimenting with real-time, interactive "chat" programs that may be applicable to a library setting. So look for new developments in this area by the spring semester! Until then, we're here to help you...in person, by phone, and by electronic mail.
